In April of 2015, Truples played his first show at the Groovin’ the Moo afterparty; having only been on the scene for less than a year.
His writing continued, and mid-year, Stoney Roads & Australian Institute of Music selected Truples as the winner of a collaborative mentoring session with Electronic mecca, “Paces”.
The result was a refined version of his track “Daylight”.
A month later, Truples was given more airplay as a finalist in the Triple J Ukiyo #HMRX Remix contest; amongst positive reviews.
“YES! Truples has grabbed Ukiyo and give it a tingly ’n’ fizzy working over. Put on your shades, this one’s bright!” (4 stars, Dave Ruby Howe - Triple J)
He went on to play the one off “Cream Festival”... and backed it up with his first signed track, “4U”, before disappearing for 2 years.
Truples returns from a lengthy hiatus to celebrate his new single to kick-start his comeback into the scene, with “Iso”.
